TREND ALERT: Round Mirrors Still Breaking the Internet

You’ve read the décor magazine, you’ve seen the home reno shows on the telly, you’ve visited the swanky showrooms, you know that round mirrors are having a bit of a massive moment right now.

If you thought this trend was reaching its last legs, well think again. The minimalist mirror trend inspired by Scandi-design is staying well and truly in the trend loop. These circular mirrors, such as our infamous Apollo Round Mirror, the Flynn Mirror and the Bjorn Mirror (in oval shape), deliver an elegant, streamlined aesthetic, particularly when finished with a strategic combination of task and feature lighting.

The reason the high-impact look is gaining such traction is down to the aesthetic pleasure of round objects and how they fit seamlessly into interior compositions. Rooms, in particular bathrooms and hallways, are for the most part composed of straight lines and right angles. A round mirror adds a new dimension of fluidity and offers a more organic feel,  softening the harsh edges and bringing symmetry and calm to our hectic lives. Ohm!
